Hi world! Chris here. This page was an impulsive idea I decided to run with. I basically just wanted to give a little background on the purpose and reasoning behind Here, There, and Back Again and maybe give you some incentive to read some posts. You see, it’s more than just a side hobby or creative outlet (not that those aren’t important reasons to blog), but it’s got a bit to do with my future.

More than almost anything, I want to write. I write stories all the time. I write poetry and screenplays and sometimes I write songs. Writing is something that gives me a passion and a purpose. It’s exactly what I want to do for my career. And for the internship opportunities I’m looking into after college, it can really help the candidates to have some kind of social writing outlet. Like a blog.

I’m staring mine early so that my writing resume will be loaded. Hopefully, handing in pages with followers and reviews will be extra impressive.

I have tried to blog a few times before and . . . let’s just say none of them panned out. But, I know that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, so I’m back at it.
