Christmas Cooking FAILS Again

Hi world! Chris here. Last year I made a Christmas post all about the terrible cookie decorations my friend and I failed at trying to copy pictures from Pinterest. Well, this year I wanted to do something a little different so I chose some easier looking treats and figured we’d be able to recreate them pretty well for a more aesthetically pleasing post. However, that didn’t happen.

Once again, we succeeded in . . . well, failing. I guess it’s become our new tradition to make some ugly looking goodies just for the holiday. At least we had a lot of fun struggling in the kitchen. Hopefully the same can be said for you as you look over the outcome of our labor.

Enjoy!

Oreo Ball Snowmen

Melted Snowman Oreo Balls

Something in their eyes feels a little more like Halloween than Christmas.
I legitimately don’t know what happened to this guy. Little abominable snowman I guess.

Oreo Ball Presents

Expectation

Your family will want to make these Christmas present oreo balls each season! A little spin on classic oreo balls transforms these into one of the best no bake holiday treats!

It’s the thought that counts, right?

Don’t mind the fact that they don’t have eyes. Just don’t think about it.

Christmas Cake Pops

The cake pop actually wasn’t that bad. It’s my hand that I’m laughing at in this picture.

Hot Cocoa Bomb

Expectation

If you haven’t seen these before, I highly recommend looking up the videos online because they are pretty cool.

Hot Tip: When making hot cocoa bombs, get the biggest chocolate mold you find. Sadly, this was the biggest one I found but it was obviously pretty small. Didn’t really work that well. We lost many good chocolate balls in the process. The end was not a pretty sight.

Fortunately, the act of making them was pretty fun. My bestfriend and I had a great time failing with all these things. And don’t worry, we were being Covid safe! If you’re looking for some ways to celebrate now that it’s Christmas Eve Eve, I recommend baking. I hate cooking, but I love baking. Get your kids together to help, or your siblings, or your friends. It might not end up how you excepted, but you’ll probably have a great time anyways.

Thanks for making it this far in the post. I hope some of these images made you laugh and inspire you during the rest of this holiday. Have a Merry Christmas if that’s what you celebrate and Happy Holidays if that’s more your thing. I’ll see you guys next week to get in the New Years Spirit!

Until then, stay safe out there!
