Hi world! Chris here. Can’t believe it’s been SO LONG since I uploaded a post for you guys. I promise it was not on purpose. Over the summer (when the world was shut down) I focused all my free time into writing a full length draft of my future novel. It was so fun and I was obsessed with it, but it absolutely fried my brain, so I needed a small break from trying to write anything else. The break was only supposed to last a week and then I was supposed to start uploading again, but it somehow stretched until my classes started again and by that point I had to focus my energy on my assignments and my blog got pushed to the very back of my mind.

Until now.

I have finally made it through the last full week of classes which means I have finished my last full week of school for the rest of my life. That’s right, I’m graduating next month almost as soon as finals end! I am so excited to get my degree but also so nervous to be in the real world. Fingers crossed I can actually find a job somewhere.

Even though I’m going to be entering official adulthood, I don’t want to give up writing. That’s why I’m making sure to rejuvenate my blog now so it’ll be easier for me to keep it up as I start working for real. Plus, the holidays are coming up and that requires some fun posts to suite the season!

I have a lot of really great stuff planned and I can’t wait to share it with you all. Spread the word Here, There, and Back Again has come back to life and will be returning with regular content starting next week (just in time for Thanksgiving). Thanks for sticking it out and waiting for me to come back from my student hiatus. It’s so cool to see that the stats actually kept going up while I wasn’t posting. Welcome to the blog newcomers!
